Gymnastics

While I was home a weekend I was cruising around my town and decided to stop and take some pictures of cows.  They liked the attention.

I put these two images together in one blog post mostly because I liked the colors in both.  I love the street and car reflections in the mirror pieces in the one image and the fall colors in the other.

Simply Fun

These are just shots I took while i was cruising around mainstreet.  I mainly just messed around with the angle and F-stop.  I was just having fun!

home sweet home :o)

All of these photographs were taken right down the road from my house.  I loved the changing colors on the trees and the lighting seemed to be perfect to take photographs!

Cafe Lights

This was taken at a little cafe on Mainstreet.  I liked the design of the lights and wanted to take a picture of them.  I had the camera set at a low depth of field for this photo.

Paradise

When I first got my camera I took it with me on vacation where I first started using it.  I like the composition of this photo because of the off centeredness of the palm trees and the island and clouds filling in space on the left.

Fire Hydrant

So, this picture is another simple one that I made more interesting by making just the red in the photo pop while the rest was left black and white.

Church

I thought this Catholic church had a

really unique look so I decided to 

take a photograph of it.  I really liked

the lighting at the time of day I took 

this picture.

Inactivity

For this photograph I tested out 

shutter speed on the camera to smooth 

the clouds in the image.

One Wish

I really liked the simplicity of this full

bloomed dandelion next to the bright

green grass.  I'm relatively new to 

photography but am very excited to have

a new challenge to tackle!
